Unlike the 2008 Chloé Eau de Parfum pillar, which was created to embody purity and naturalness, the new Nomade is designed to evoke the bold and adventurous side of Chloé women.
The inspiration behind Nomade stems from the desire for freedom, surprises, open spaces, and empowerment. Givaudan perfumer Quentin Bisch, the creative force behind the fragrance, has crafted Nomade as a floral chypre composition, incorporating notes of Mirabelle plum, freesia, and oak moss. The aim was to create a scent that is less floral and has a more "dirty" character than the iconic Chloé Signature.
The Chloé Signature fragrance represents a modern interpretation of the perfume classic, focusing on the reinterpretation of the rose. In contrast, the new Nomade composition explores the theme of chypre, a classic fragrance family known for its earthy and woody notes.
The design of the Nomade bottle pays homage to one of the house's classic bags, the Drew model, mirroring its iconic shape. The advertising campaign for Nomade features actress Ariane Labed, whose performance was captured by filmmaker Fleur Fortuné.
At the heart of Nomade is a woody fragrance with floral notes. The top note showcases the vibrant and juicy Mirabelle plum, which provides a bold and unexpected opening.
